Abigail Warren

Specialisms: Anxiety, depression, loss, separation, stress, anger, early life issues, trauma, health issues, burnout, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, compassion, spirituality, women’s issues, life stages and aging, and more.

An experienced integrative psychotherapist who sees a wide range of clients. She often works with those facing some kind of ‘life crisis’ or period of transition. Whether this is due to an external situation such a separation or bereavement, or an internal experience such as feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or depressed, talking with a therapist can help.

Therapy is an opportunity to speak about anything that is troubling you, in a confidential and supportive setting. Abigail will help you to explore, at your own pace, what is going on for you. You can have a different kind of conversation from those in daily life – there is space to talk freely and be really listened to.

She sees every person as a unique individual with their own particular story and experiences. There are good reasons for how we are, for how we coped with adversity in the past. Making sense of these survival strategies can be liberating. Over time life presents us with new situations and challenges, which although painful to encounter, ask us to grow and change. Therapy can help with this process. It can lead to new ways of being, seeing, and relating, and a way forward towards a more meaningful and authentic life.

An integrative psychotherapist draws on several well-established modalities such as the humanistic, psychodynamic, and transpersonal. The approach is adapted to each person, depending what is needed and what works for you.

There is no set length for therapy or the number of sessions; however the rhythm of a weekly commitment is usually beneficial. Abigail offers a free no-obligation 15-20 minute phone call if you would like to find out more.
